The ancient Greeks like Homer called olive oil “golden liquid”, Hippocrates called it “Great Therapeutic” , Anaxagoras, Solon and Aristotle studied it not only for their pharmaceutical properties but also as a nutritional source of life.

Cretan olive oil is the backbone of Mediterranean diet and is scientifically proven that its rich aroma, flavor and nutritional elements constitutes greatly to the longevity of the people they use it.

In 1960 the international community was preoccupied by a finding of a group of doctors that stated that the people of Crete live longer in contrast to other people of the world because they present a lower percentage of chronic diseases and cancer.
